New spot by Cinemaxx and CADA TRUEMAX

In collaboration with CinemaxX, Truemax – Copenhagen Academy of Games, Animation & Visual Effects has created an informational film spot titled 'We are here to watch movies!'. As the title suggests, it is a film spot about how to behave as an audience in CinemaxX cinemas. The action-packed visual effects film spot was created by 14 students. The 32-second film spot took 5 months to produce. The sound design for the spot was produced by the Bodil-winning sound designer, Peter Albrechtsen. In addition to being shown in CinemaxX cinemas across the country, the film spot can also be viewed on YouTube:
“It has been an incredibly exciting project for our 4th semester to work on,” says Lars Bjerresgaard Krogh, Education Manager at Truemax, “precisely because we emphasize that our students should work on projects as realistic as possible during their education at Truemax, and this collaboration with CinemaxX has certainly been just that. The collaboration with CinemaxX has been a great pleasure,” Lars continues, “we were given free rein to come up with ideas for the film from start to finish.”
CinemaxX states about the collaboration with Truemax: “It has been a privilege to work with the students. We are impressed by the talent pool at Truemax, and it is a pleasure to see a graduation film on the big screen that can also serve as a calling card for these great talents,” says Rikart Købke, Film Director at CinemaxX.
“This will not, however, be the end of our collaboration with CinemaxX,” says Lars. “We have already agreed with CinemaxX to continue our good relationship, so our upcoming 4th semester will create a new project.” We do not yet know the content or idea for the project.
